The purposes of the Association shall be:
a. To cultivate cordial relations among members of the Association through regular meetings and through social and recreational events;
b. To further the education and broaden the scope of the professional landman;
c. To promote effective communication between the Association and government, community and industry with regard to energy related issues.

Meeting Schedule
Meetings for the AAPL are normally held in the ConocoPhillips building at 700 G. St. in Anchorage on the third Tuesday of the month.
The Alaska Division of Oil and Gas has set its tentative lease sale dates for May and October. Consequently, our meeting dates for those months are being moved to the day before the sales.
